Most insurance companies have Direct Repair Programs or (DRP’s) which streamline the repair process. The DRP allows the repair facility to estimate damage and perform any necessary repairs to your vehicle. This eliminates the wait for an adjuster to inspect your vehicle and reduces downtime. When repairs are complete, and the vehicle is returned to the owner, a final bill is sent to the insurance company, and payment is made to the repair facility.
Insurance companies may randomly inspect vehicles at any time before, during, or after repairs.
Any improprieties or substandard repairs could result in removal from the program and the vehicle owned would be notified.
